Two DGPE Students Receive Scholarships

Christopher Jarrett

Christopher was recently awarded the Gamma Theta Upsilon Rechlin Scholarship. This scholarship is a one-time award of $1000. Chris is now an MS student in DGPE, but at the time was a senior and the award is provided to students with strong undergraduate record with aspirations for enrolling in a graduate program.

Laney Rivera

Laney was the recipient of the North Carolina Association of Floodplain Managers (NCAFPM) 2020 academic scholarship. The award comes with a one-time amount of $1,250 scholarship. Ms. Rivera was recognized by the NCAFPM Board of Directors for her academic achievements, involvement in professional and personal activities, and honors/awards.
