DGPE Class of 2020
The Department of Geography, Planning and Environment wishes to celebrate and recognize the new graduates from the class of 2020.
Even with the current rough seas, this group of pirates continued to thrive. It was a banner semester as several students received not only their degrees, but also certificates by becoming content experts in geographic information science and technology. Numerous students graduated with national and regional awards. We also saw a new cohort of students earn distinction with their induction into the discipline’s international honor society, which requires a 3.3 GPA or higher. Another student is also graduating with Departmental Honors based on her undergraduate research project. This cohort of students also conducted numerous internships over their careers, which have provided them a great opportunity to apply their educational experience and expand applied knowledge.
The Department would like to thank all of the Spring 2020 graduates for their contributions to program and creating a productive and enthusiastic learning community. The Department congratulates all of graduating students and wishes them the best of luck on their next endeavors. We have developed a short video to recognize our graduates. Go Pirates!
Congratulations DGPE Graduates!
