Dr. Petersen-Perlman Part of WRC Project to Receive $5M CoPe Award

Dr. Petersen-Perlman is part of a $5M Coastlines and People project led by the ECU Water Resources Center and sponsored by the National Science Foundation. The project team includes faculty from across ECU, six collaborating universities (Manhattan College, NCCU, UNC-Greensboro, University of Virginia, Clemson University, and the Virginia Institute of Marine Science), and many regional partners throughout eastern North Carolina.

The project will monitor the Tar River and Pamlico Sound and will lead community-based science efforts to strengthen regional capacity to make collaborative decisions and adapt to a changing environment. Follow the link for further information about the project.
