Rob Howard Awarded an Environmental Enhancement Grant

Rob Howard (Co-Director, ECU Center for Geographic Information Science) has been awarded an Environmental Enhancement Grant from the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office. He will be working with co-PIs Mike O’Driscoll and Guy Iverson, along with Daryl Norris from the City of Greenville, to identify and evaluate stormwater control measures throughout the city. The project will help the city determine which locations are at a higher risk for flooding and poor water quality and take steps to reduce the environmental damage caused by stormwater runoff, especially in underserved communities.
