Research project/area
“I will be working to understand the differential impacts of the introduction of climate change mitigation technologies on coastal North Carolina communities.”
Why did you decide to join the graduate program in this department?
“My thesis interest is in coastal ecosystems and the impact of environmental challenges or changes on coastal communities. Therefore, I joined the Geography department which encompasses many specialties in that realm, that allow the exploration of different approaches to the relationship between our physical world and human experiences.”
A fun fact about yourself OR your hobbies.
“In my free time, I grow herbal plants and study the medical properties of those plants. I also read up on how various cultures use those plants in their medical and healing practices. My favorite healing plant is ginger, the entire plant is edible!”
