Why did you decide to join the graduate program in this department?

“After finishing my undergraduate degree during the Spring of 2020 from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, I wanted to continue my education—especially after the COVID pandemic. I was intrigued and ready to explore coastal research opportunities that ECU advertised. Dr. Sirianni caught my attention as she uses cutting edge technology to conduct coastal research.”

A fun fact about yourself OR your hobbies.

“My undergraduate education is geoscience, and every time I travel to a new place I try to find a new rock, fossil, or mineral to collect. I have a shelf with dozens of souvenirs from my travels!”
