Advisor: Dr. Beth Bee
Research project/area
“As I am a first-year graduate student, this can be hard to answer so early on, but I do have some ideas regarding this. I am very interested in involving myself within community-based research and being able to showcase the importance of planning and developing a community in a certain way to ensure there is a flourishing environment for all that occupy it.”
Why did you decide to join the graduate program in this department?
“I decided to join the graduate program within this department as I was offered to be the Graduate Research Assistant position for Dr. Bee’s project. This was an incredible offer to me, which made it almost impossible to turn down. I always knew I wanted to go to graduate school, but I was not entirely sure where or in what area, however I could not be more grateful to where I am now and I cannot wait to see what the future holds.”
A fun fact about yourself OR your hobbies.
“A fun fact about me is that I am part of the Theta Omega Chapter within the Delta Zeta Sorority. I have always been passionate about serving others within my community, so this was the perfect opportunity for me to be able to create long-lasting friendships, serve my community, and find a purpose within myself.”
